Abstract

Ambassador Cuelenaere, examines the potential revival of colonialism amidst a changing global landscape. She emphasizes collaboration in addressing climate change and critiques Western approaches to migration, highlighting the inefficacy of deals like the EU-Tunisia agreement. Drawing on examples from Yemen, Sri Lanka, and Ukraine, Cuelenaere highlights the need to tackle forgotten wars and root causes for lasting peace.
